Why have Larry come to you service or event?

You can tie to a purpose or theme: Easter, revival, fundraiser, appreciation theme, etc.
Message is an example of 2nd chances
Forgiveness is articulated
Re-enforces pastor’s weekly message
Something different; high energy, dramatic

How did this start?

Larry was asked to portray Peter at his church’s Easter program, “The Living Last Supper”. The painter DeVinci captured the moment when Jesus told the disciples were told one of them would betray him. They each did a self inspection asking, “Is it I?”

A few years later, Larry sought professional advice from one of the men who portrayed Judas. Indicating his desire to be a professional speaker, the friend asked what if he was someone other than himself. Since God had been dealing with Larry, the answer was evident.

What you see on the platform today is the work and fine-tuning over many years. “Peter” is a story in dramatic form, and this remains the core of Larry’s ministry. Telling other Biblical stories with the same passion, yet without the drama, was a natural course to take.

How long has Larry been presenting “Peter”?

He began in 1997 part time. In 2003, God led him into this full time ministry. For a description of the presentation, check out the Program Description section of this website. To view where he has spoken, see “Where Larry has been seen” and “Venues” sections of this website.

What is Larry’s reason for presenting?

Larry’s desire for the audience is simple: To know God intimately, accept salvation through His Son Jesus Christ, and experience the presence of the Holy Spirit in their life.

Is there a charge?

One must realize the old adage “you get what you pay for”. The investment to have Larry come to your event or service is extremely small compared to the eternal significance of a changed life.

This is Larry’s full time work. He does not have a staff, which simply means he must do all the work himself. Marketing, travel arrangements, promotional materials, development and improvement of the presentations.

Local fees are on a sliding scale base upon the number of people, and are calculated on a “drive to the same day” basis. If overnight, fees and expenses to include lodging and mileage. Many times we can agree on a flat fee.

Larry recommends a “piggy back” situation to help each venue share expenses. Also, if there is a Christian school in your area, Larry can make a chapel presentation for them. Just put him in contact with the person who schedules the chapel hours at the school.

Does Larry belong to any professional organizations?

Larry is a member of CITA (Christians in Theatre Arts) and NSN (National Storytelling Network).
